Willey Lineage

My gg-grandmother was an Willey. Martha Lavina Willey (dates unknown) was married to James Madison Faulkner (1855-1934).

According to the LaFayette, Owen County, Indiana 1880 census (available at FamilySearch.org), Edward was born about 1815 in Virginia, and was a farmer. His wife Elizabeth was born about 1824 in Ohio. More information from another researcher (thank you!) indicates that Elizabeth's married name was Grase or Grace, and that Edward Willey was her second husband. She was previously married to Phillip Grase or Gross (depending on the source), and had 4 children with him.

Edward married Elizabeth (?) Grase in 1858, and she had 4 more children with him. Edward was also previously married, to a woman named Ann Maria Fleming, and had 9 children with her.

Martha Lavina Willey married James Madison Faulkner 20 May 1882 in Owen County, Indiana. With him, she had three children, two of whom survived to adulthood, one of whom was my great-grandmother, Chloe.

I very little about her. If you can help me, I would love to hear from you! A very kind volunteer looked up her marriage registration information, which included her age at marriage: 20 (born about 1862), that she was born in Owen County, Indiana, and her parents names: Edward Willey and Elizabeth Gross.
